Africell Honors Top Fantasy League Managers for August & September

Africell Sierra Leone has celebrated the top performers of its ongoing Africell Fantasy League, honoring the outstanding Managers of the Month for August and September during a lively ceremony at the company’s head office in Freetown.

The Africell Fantasy League is an interactive platform that allows English Premier League (EPL) fans to showcase their football knowledge and strategic skills while competing for attractive prizes. The initiative has quickly become a favorite among football enthusiasts, creating excitement, engagement, and friendly competition across Sierra Leone.

Speaking at the event, Abdul Aziz Kamara, Assistant Media Manager at Africell Sierra Leone, expressed gratitude to all participants and encouraged more fans to join the growing fantasy football community. “We appreciate everyone who has been part of this journey. The Africell Fantasy League is not just about winning prizes — it’s about engaging our customers in something they love, while creating fun and connection through football,” he said.

The competition has already attracted over 6,000 active managers, all competing weekly for top positions and exciting rewards.

Prizes for the competition include:

At the ceremony, Amadu Massaquoi, manager of Vitoma FC, was announced as the August Manager of the Month, while Kal Thomson, manager of Akondya FC, took home the September Manager of the Month award. Both winners received their cash prizes and branded gifts in recognition of their exceptional performance.
