Ahead of commissioning, NASSIT Director General visits Moyamba District Office

The Director General of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) on Sunday, 16th November 2025, paid an inspection visit to the newly constructed NASSIT District Office in Moyamba.
Speaking after the inspection, Mohamed Fuaad Daboh reminded the team that the District Office was an outcome of a needs assessment conducted in 2023 to expand the Trust’s services to the district.
He expressed his appreciation to His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Rtd. Brigadier General Julius Maada Bio, for his determination, support and political will to ensure that every Sierra Leonean is socially protected.
“Our determination to expand our services to all corners of the country is driven by the President’s desire to bring social protection to every Sierra Leonean”, he emphasised.
The Director General further congratulated the contractors for a job well done.
“This is the true spirit of being a Sierra Leonean. We should endeavour to give our best to our country whenever we have the opportunity,” Mr. Daboh

“This office will not only increase our visibility and bring our services closer to the people of Moyamba but will also create an increased revenue growth and job opportunities to the people of Moyamba” , the DG added.

The Director General admonished the designated District Manager to take full advantage of the facility and provide efficient services to the people, adding, “This office is here to bring services closer to our people. The objective should be achieved, nothing more, nothing less.

On his part, Deputy Director General in charge of Operations, Edwin Mohamed Kamara, assured the Director General that the true value of the District office would be achieved and urged the Head of Administration, the Regional Coordinator and the Regional Manager, South to pay key attention to the snag list for completeness before the commissioning of the office.


The designated District Manager, Samuel Margai, expressed his appreciation to the Director General and Management for the responsibility entrusted in him, and pledged his commitment to ensure that the full potential of the office is realised.
